What is a one-day makeover?

A one-day makeover, also known as interior redesign, is an affordable, professional, high impact transformation that is completed in a matter of hours. Your existing furniture, art, and accessories are creatively arranged to maximize comfort and appeal. A living or family room is typically completed in three to five hours.

What is the process for a room makeover?

• We schedule a 15- 20 minute preview tour with you. This provides you with an opportunity to share information on how the room needs to function and your style preferences. An appointment is then scheduled for the makeover on a day when you can be away while the work is being done.
• On the day of the makeover we start by completely removing all the accessories, art, furniture, rugs, lamps (everything!) from the room. The room becomes a clean slate for evaluating the best way to begin replacing the contents. Other areas of the home may be "shopped" for furnishings to transform the makeover room.
• Enjoy your day away from home and the exciting element of surprise upon your return!

Real Estate Evaluation and Enhancement

What is Real Estate Enhancement?

• Also known as real estate "staging", Real Estate Enhancement is the visual evaluation and transformation of residential property for appeal to a broad market. The importance of a great first impression is especially true in selling a home. An enhanced property will show well, tend to sell more quickly, and bring the best price. An enhanced property will be de-personalized and de-cluttered so that a buyer will feel that the home has been well taken care of and can imagine their own belongings in the space.
• Enhancement services may be as simple as rearranging furniture and accessories, removing clutter and organizing storage spaces. A complete written evaluation of needs and recommendations for interior and exterior improvements is available. Suggestions may include paint, repairs, landscaping or any others that will make the home appear as clean, spacious, and move in ready as possible.

What is the process for Real Estate Enhancement?

• The initial consultation includes a brief tour with the homeowner, then we will conduct an in-depth room-by-room evaluation. The initial consultation generally requires 1½ to 2 hours.
• Simple enhancement services may be conducted on the spot during the initial consultation. A follow-up appointment may be made for additional services as needed.

Decorating Consultations

If you choose to add to or change your decor, we will be happy to help you develop a plan. We will assess your existing furnishings and your personal style, then offer budget conscious suggestions for additional purchases or enhancements. Suggestions may include choices of color, furniture, window coverings, and accessories, etc.

Rates

• Makeovers, Real Estate Enhancement and Decorating Consultations $80 per hour (one hour minimum)
• Flat rate bids available for large projects
• Shopping $50 per hour
• Gift certificates are available
